2004 Subaru WRX hatch – Accessportv2 calibration

On the afternoon of Saturday we got this client all the way from northern part of our state come in to get his car dialed in. Thanks to some of the members at solasec for the referral.

This 2004 Subaru WRX hatch came sporting a ej257 motor along with a few mods that warranted it to need a calibration.  Mods on the vehicle included: eBay 16g turbo / Perrin FMIC / TGV delete / EBCS / DW750cc / APv2
Turbo back exhaust / Grimmspeed ebcs.
Car came in sporting a very odd erratic boost curve, so we first did a boost leak test and our tech found a leak in the recirculation valve.  This was fixed and then the calibration was able to take place.

Calibration was done in 4th gear and ambient temps of the day: 68F, 42%, 30.30

2006 Nissan 350z AT – UpRev calibration

Client came in with a 2006 Nissan 350z 5MT which he had installed some mods to it and it was running a little sluggish.  The breathing mods that were installed on the vehicle made the AFR on the engine leaner so calibration was needed to get the most out of the current items.

Thanks to the referral from Z1Motorsports this gentleman showed up to get his car calibrated.

Mods on the vehicle were:  Z1Motorsports intake / Muffler delete / Test Pipes

Ambient conditions on the session: 78F, 82% & 30.07 barometer, test was done in 4th gear sports mode.

2016 Subaru STi build – Short block and goodies

One of our good clients had a mishap on 2016 Subaru STi, yeah you all know the infamous ringland failure due to the crummy OEM oil pick up. So he did not waste time in going for something better that will give his AutoX duty vehicle the piece of mind.  In comes the short block from IAG, and a plethora of performance parts to take advantage of this wonderful robust short block.

Parts on this build include great performance names such as:

Fuel Injector Development 1300cc / Tomioka Racing GTX2971R / Radium Engineering FPR / Gates Racing belt
Mishimoto Rad. cap / KillerB Motorsports oil pick up & windage / IAG Short block, TGV Delete kit, Fuel rails & spacers / Torque Solution Fuel Line kit / Cometic Headgaskets / OEM gasket kit, oil pump & water pump / Grimmspeed TMIC coupler kit / ACT Heavy Duty Street Clutch.

I am sure I am forgetting something but nevertheless I will add it later.  So on to the pictures of the parts of this build which should keep the client busy for some time.
