2017 McLaren 570GT – Calibration session

2017 McLaren 570 GT was brought in to jump on the rollers this weekend.  First off we would like to thank the owner of Express Auto Saloon (Brandon) for giving us the opportunity to provide our AWD Dyno Dynamics for this calibration.

EAS flew in techs and calibrators from New Jersey to install upgraded Pure turbos onto the 570GT.  After the install of course it needed to be checked and mapped so on this hot summer day, the staff battled with ambient temps and was able to make some progress on the calibration.

2009 Infiniti G37 – UpRev / ARC calibration

Just another day in the hot box, but at least is not as miserable as in the days.  Tuning is mostly done at nights during the summer months for that reason.  Ambient temps were in the 86F, 55% humidity and baro was 30.02 that night.
We placed on the rollers a 2009 G37, seems that this vehicle was referred to us by a good friend of the shop that seems to be putting in some work in the mean streets of NOLA.
Special thanks goes out to Christopher for sending us yet another vehicle in need of our calibration and Randy W. for the referral as well.

Below are the before and after results from this calibration.

Above is dyno jet calculated numbers.

2003 Infiniti G35T – Haltech Platinum Pro

This car has been with us for quite a while now, practically a year. It arrived at our shop with the usual phrase, “I need a tune and can you get me correct.” Well this car showed up from been worked on by another shop in Texas which could not finish the project.

One thing lead to another and we saw a plethora of issues on this build. Starting from 2 low flowing injectors, we placed them on the test bench and confirmed that.  In came some FID1300 and that solved the fuel issue, but that was just the tip of the iceberg of issues that needed to be addressed before it could hit the rollers.
A build sheet of the motor and mods was sent by the client to us that indicated:
IPP Long Block (Wiseco Pistons/Eagle rods) with a JWT cams (motor capable of 650whp)
RPS lightweight flywheel
CJM Return fuel system
Stillen engine damper
Rerouted AC Lines
Z1 Motor mounts and radiator brackets
Radiator fans were upgraded
OEM Thermostat kit
Proper catch can kit was added
Haltech Platinum Pro
Fuel/Oil/pressure sensors along with a dual WB kit were added for engine protection
Haltech boost control kit was added and closed loop boost control was integrated.
Momentum Performance turbo kit, turbo upgraded to Garrett GT37

With the great care for details by our tech, this car was resurrected and now it starts, idles and performs to the
standards/expectations that client initially expected it to be.

Ambient conditions during the tuning session were:
85F, 70% humidity and 30.01 Baro
Tuned with Shell 93 octane.
