1992 Honda Civic EG Turbo – Calibration

1992 Honda Civic EG Turbo – Calibration

This project really was frustrating since when it seems that we made some gains, the parts that were initially installed were not up to par when it came down to see numbers on the rollers. This is why I always preach, “buy quality the first time and then you don’t have to spend twice.”

With that said, knock off fuel items were bought and installed the first go around as we tried to calibrate this vehicle on a fresh built engine, used Precision turbo 62mm turbo, CSF radiator, Speedfactory FMIC & hood exit exhaust, Tial 60mm WG, Hondata CPR & S300, Fuse E85R.

Well that first session was a complete disaster as the POS Bosch 2200cc and China made dual pumps, 5 gal. fuel tank and lines deteriorated from the ethanol fuel and contaminated the whole fuel system. Besides that the pumps just failed during a pull. At the time we decided to abandon the calibration and resume at a later time when we can buy some better components. We ripped the fuel pump and replaced it with a Aeromotive A1000 inline and got rid of those injectors and replaced with some Fuel Injector Development 2000cc units. Cleaned the whole fuel system and then got her back on the rollers.

This time on the rollers it did not disappoint as we managed to make some sauce on the Dyno Dynamics. Here are the results.

2015 Civic Si Supercharger – FlashPro

Had the pleasure of helping a local client with his tuning of a #kraftwerks supercharger kit on his Civic SI.

Was told that the kit was used and The owner installed himself.

After the install of the kit, the tuning was all that was left to be dialed in.

On a given night we proceeded to calibrate the vehicle.  Made some solid gains, car runds solid now.

Special thanks to Tinh for trusting us with his ride!

1992 Honda Civic – H22

This previous project took me to adjusting a H22 swapped civic with all the bolt ons on a Hondata S300 controlling the show.  Later a shot of NOS was added to make some more power.

A wet shot of 100 was added to the mix and that is where the S300 came in to make sure everything was operating in the engine to par.

Able to make some very goood reliable power for the wet shot that was delivered.eg1 eg2 eg3 eg4 eg5

Haltech Elite 1500 – Savage Life EF

Finally we got a chance to get a Haltech Elite with Race Functions to a local client.  We have tuned several of these Elite series but usually in the country of Panamà.  Now I have a chance to do some local tuning to a friend and racer we are sponsoring.

HT-150939 will be soon living inside a Honda EF Civic turbo.  We are focusing now on the custom engine harness then later the ignition accessories.

This project is in the infant stages at the moment as the chassis is getting prepped up for roll cage and other items.

So for now  we are gathering the necessary parts for the heart of the project.  Stay tuned as we will constantly update this blog as the parts start to come in and the work is done to the chassis.

Will leave you now with the brains of the whole operation:
